    Thomas E. O’Gorman, J.D., 92, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg.  He was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart,  the late June (Eckert) O’Gorman, who died in 1995.   He was also the husband of the late Louise Daley, who died in 2015.

   Born in Newark, NJ, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas H. and Sadie (Nagle) O’Gorman.  He grew up in Union, NJ, attending St. Michael’s Catholic School through 8th grade, and then Union High School, graduating in 1945.  He enlisted in the US Navy in 1945 during WWII, and was honorably discharged in 1946.  He then attended Seton Hall University in the Pre-Law program, and  graduated from Rutgers University Law School in 1951.   He passed the NJ Bar Exam that same year, and began practicing law as O’Gorman, McMann & Troxell, specializing in Workmen’s Compensation and trial work.  By 1968 he was admitted to practice in all 50 states, as well as in federal courts and before the US Supreme Court.

   Thomas was a member of the Suburban Golf Club of Union, NJ, for over 35 years, and served on its Board of Trustees. 

   He now walks hand-in-hand with his true love, June.

   Survivors:  daughter Tami Brotosky and her husband John of Hanover Township; grandchildren Amanda Davidson  of Nazareth, John T. Brotosky of Macungie; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
