Mr. Thomas E. Karpicky, age 57, beloved husband of 39 years to Dorothy Sawicki Karpicky of Milford, passed away suddenly on Saturday September 26, 2009 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, after a brief illness. Son of Victoria Dembrosky Karpicky of Milford and the late Frank Karpicky, he was born on August 6, 1952 in Bridgeport. Tom was a machinist supervisor at the Connecticut Post for 20 years and later at the former Kurt Volk Inc. in Orange, and recently employed by KX Industries of Orange. In addition to wife Dorothy and mother Victoria, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Karpicky of Milford and her companion Brandon Mills of Fairfield, Diane Karpicky-Grady and her husband John, of Milford, and a grand-daughter, Caitlin Grady. Brother Frank Karpicky of West Haven and two nephews, Frank Karpicky Jr. of Stratford and James Karpicky of Waterbury.
