Thomas E. Grimm, age 75, of Salem died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Altercare of Alliance Center. He was born December 8, 1939 in Monroe, Michigan, a son of the late Francis and Dorothy (Rohrbaugh) Grimm.
Tom retired in 2001 from the Salem Community Hospital where he was a pharmacist for 25 years and previously worked at the former Persky’s Pharmacy. He was a 1962 graduate of Ohio Northern and a member of the First Christian Church.
His wife, Margaret (Long) Grimm whom he married February 4, 1961 survives him along with two sons, Bryan (Susan) Grimm of Tampa, Florida and Douglas (Lori) Grimm of Sumter, South Carolina; a daughter, Rebecca (Jim) Cannon of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Mary Hogue, Dalene White and Gaynell Tafini; a brother, Ronald Rohrbaugh of Columbiana; and six grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Grimm, Frances and Megan Grimm, and Thomas and Ryan Cannon.
He was always a go-getter and a perfectionist. He always bestowed on all to always think of others before ourselves.
