Thomas E. Davis, Sr. On March 25, 2015 of Clayton. Age 85. Beloved husband of the late Eva E. (nee Palladino). Devoted father of Teresa Ann Adamucci and the late Thomas E. Davis , Jr. Loving grandfather of Carmen, Anthony, Thomas, Lisa, Michael. Proud great-grandfather of Ava, Josephine, Maia and Amelia. Dear brother of Patricia Mox (Jack). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

My Dad first and foremost loved a good Italian meal, with his capellini pasta ‘al dente’ and lots of spicy, flavor-able sauce. He was sincerely looking forward to my dear cousin’s Sharon Manning’s next crab and spaghetti dinner, because he wanted to taste that “delicious looking red sauce,” even though he may not have been able to completely enjoy it with his sensitive stomach at the time. Many holidays he and my Mom would return from a dinner with Sharon and Sophia, Aunt Theresa, or some other dear. member of the family, and rave about what a wonderful feast they had enjoyed. While living with him this past year, my petite yet obviously very brave daughter, Lisa, very quickly learned how to bread and fry fresh fish, almost daily, because that was his favorite meal. In fact he would personally place the previously frozen ‘catch of the day’ on the kitchen counter to thaw as a not so gentle reminder, just in case she should forget to make dinner! Aside from his entertaining family and good food, my Dad very much appreciated a cold beer, his shot of vodka, and some good, authentic Provolone and Pepperoni to snack on in front of the TV at night.
