Thomas Daniel Coleman, 74, Deming resident passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at his home
surrounded by his loving family.
Thomas was born February 14, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Mary Coleman (Vassallo) and Thomas Coleman Sr. He retired as a lieutenant from the Philadelphia police department after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Guadalupe Coleman (Trejo) of the home; Children, Tara Coleman of California, Patricia Lorimer (Clinton) of California, Sara Winterborne of New Jersey, Christina DeLucci (James) of Florida, and Vincent Traitz III (Catherine) of Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mary Ann Scarpello, Helen Funk, Sophia Leith and Claire Rothstein; 2 brothers, Joseph and Ronald Coleman.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Coleman; parents, Thomas J. and Mary Coleman (Vassallo); grandson, Michael C. Rodriguez; brother, Martin Coleman.
