Thomas Carl Schutze
Born in Dallas, Texas on December 19, 1961, Tom passed away from complications of cancer on June 10, 2013. A proud sixth generation Texan, he was the sixth of eight children of Edbert and Eleanor Schutze. After the death of his father, his mother remarried Donald Wetzel creating a family with a combined twelve siblings. His experiences in this large, blended Catholic family influenced him greatly. He graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas and the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas at Austin. Tom married his high school sweetheart, Cherilyn Levinson Schutze and together had four daughters.
