Thomas Calabrese, 89, of Troutman, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012.

He was born in Newark, NJ to the late John and Concetta Ciccone Calabrese.

Tom served our country honorably during WWII in the Panama arena. He was a past Noble Grand of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows for 34 years and was an active member of his beloved Odd Fellow Lodge where he was involved in helping others in need. He also loved collecting baseball cards and sports memorabilia.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Ruth; his son, Thomas J. (Marian) Calabrese of West Keansburg, NJ; his daughter, Elaine (Ken) Bossert of Mooresville; sisters, Marie (George) Husjoke of South Plainfield, NJ and Angelina Conger of Lutz, FL; five grandchildren, Thomas, John and Michael Calabrese and Heather and Bobby Bossert; and two great grandchildren, Thomas and Gianna.
