Thomas C. Thomas Jr., 80, Lake Placid, died October 21, 2005 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born March 14, 1925 in Elwood, IN, and resided in Lake Placid, FL. He lived in this area until moving to Florida in 1978. He worked for Guide Lamp as a foreman, retiring in 1974 after over 30 years of service. He attended the Elwood Schools.

He proudly served his country from 1943-1946 in US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a devoted and beloved husband, father and pappaw. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his Wife of 58 years, Mary Quarles Thomas whom he married on April 5, 1947 in Elwood. Two daughters: Dr. Linda Charles Runyon of Atlanta, GA and Kathy Dennis Barber of Pendleton. 2 Sisters: Lucille Gene Loser and Alice Davis all of Elwood. Grandchildren: Andi Scott Canaday of Pendleton, Pennylane Augustine Lara of Houston, TX, Kelcy Brady Scott of Pendleton, Brandy Dustin Cabe of Okinawa, Japan and Tara Barber of Pendleton. 6 Great-grandchildren: Tyler Runyon and Victoria Cabe of Japan, Alex and Adam Canaday, Carter and Caden Scott all of Pendleton. Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his Parents: Thomas Sr. and Frances Washington Thomas. 3 brothers: Harold Thomas, Charles Thomas and Earl Derry.
