Thomas C. Portanova, 60, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 26, 2018.
Born Sept. 28, 1957, in Williamsport, he was a son of Vito J. and Louise Cipriani Portanova.
Tom was a 1975 graduate of Williamsport High School. He graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Administration.
Tom was employed by FedEx for many years as a “professional driver.” He was a fan of the NY Mets and enjoyed going on cruises and vacations, working out, reading and collecting watches. Tom loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Tom was a member of Pine Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Rhonda L. (Kost) Portanova; children, Terra (Marc) Sechrist, of Elimsport, Christina (Brian) Frame, of South Williamsport, and Jenna Laubach, of Williamsport; his mother, Louise Portanova of Williamsport; a sister, Diane (Daniel) Flexer, of Williamsport; and six grandchildren, Nick, Isabella, Cody, Lillianna, Cooper and Chloe.
He was preceded in death by his father Vito J. Portanova and two grandchildren, Brayden Sechrist and Abigail Frame.
