Thomas C. (Pappy) Bradley, 75, of Carmel, NY, formerly of Williamsport, died Saturday, August 7, 2010, at the Bon Secours Regional Hospital in Altoona after being stricken while visiting family there.
Tom’s wife, the former Doris Tomb died in January 1983.
Tom was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom served in the Marines, was very interested in anything that was related to the Marine Corps and was a life member of the American Legion. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, rock tumbling and was an avid sports fan.
Born August 22, 1934 in Lilly, Cambria County, he was the son of James Marvin and Cecilia Beck Bradley.
Surviving are a son, Darryl E. Bradley of Montoursville; daughters, Thelma J. Bradley of Carmel, NY, Debra A. (Jeffrey) Dolley of Linden and Terrie L. (Matthew) Smith of Coudersport; a brother, Gerald of Altoona; sisters, Elizabeth Bradley of Meadville, Kathleen Casillo of Hartsville, SC, Carol Bradley of Lomita, CA and Diane Bradley of Lilly; ten grandchildren and two great grandsons.
Tom was predeceased by a daughter, Denise M. Bradley, brothers, Morgan, Robert and Eugene and sisters, Irene Bates and Marie Thiess.
