Thomas “Tommy” Austin, age 66, of Pinson, AL passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27th, 2022. Affectionately known to some as “Ole Dad,” he was everything you could wish for in a father – kind, generous, and supportive. A hard worker, he spent many years as a service technician specializing in compressed air systems all across the state and southeastern US. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Regina Austin; his sons Adam Austin, David Austin (Laila), Mark Austin (Meredith); his daughter Deborah Austin; the mother of his children Ninfa Austin; his stepdaughter Cheri Deason; his stepsons Korey Burns and Jarrett Higginbotham; his grandchildren Kai and Eva Austin; and his siblings Bobby Austin (Vickie), Cathy Miller (Roger), and Randy Austin (Bobbie). The family would like to thank the staff at St Vincent’s East for their care.
