Thomas Andrew Cowap, age 82, of Newnan, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. Mr. Cowap was born in Evanston,IL on June 12, 1929 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Mabel Cowap. Mr. Cowap was a radio operator in the United States Army. He enjoyed his challenging career as a Polygraph Examiner. His special interests were photography, reading and marksmanship with both hand and shoulder guns. Mr. Cowap is survived by his daughter, Becky C. Crawford and husband, Larry R. Crawford and Becky’s mother Martha Cowap his former wife. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Fred Cowap,Jr. and wife, Marie Cowap of Illinois.
