Thomas A. Camerlo, 54, born on March 4, 1968, in Florence, Colorado, passed away on April 23, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Tom’s life reflected his love for his children, his grandchild, and his faith. Tom grew up in Southern Colorado where he met his wife and eventually joined his father in the family business, raising his 4 children. He spent some time in Greeley before eventually moving to Colorado Springs, where he spent the rest of his life.
Tom lived life by his moral code and enjoyed nothing more than putting a smile on peoples’ faces. He tried to always see the light in the darkness and knew exactly how to make the best out of a bad situation. He touched so many hearts and made a difference in so many lives.
In Tom’s last few years in life, he spent most of his time with his children, watching sports, and being a family man. Tom was such a generous person, and his highlight of every week was going to IHOP on Sunday mornings with his two sons. Tom will be forever remembered for his faith in God and country.
Tom is survived by his brother, James (Kim) Camerlo; sisters, Patricia (Joe) Nicolini and Lisa Camerlo; daughters, Alexis (Todd) Tuttoilmondo and Allysa (Phil) Hilt; sons, Nicholas Camerlo and Anthony Camerlo; and grandchild, Ezio Tuttoilmondo.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Natalie Camerlo, and father, James P. Camerlo.
In closing, Tom always found strength in the serenity prayer by quoting “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” (800) 273-8255 – Suicide Prevention Hotline
