Mr. Thomas Alan “Tab” Bonner, 59, of Oak Bowery, AL went to his eternal resting place on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Mr. Bonner is survived by his two daughters, Miranda Bonner (James, Jr.) Sorrells of Valley, AL and Jessica Bonner (Nathan) Elkins of Denham Springs, LA; his son, Jeremy Maxey; his sister, Dale Bonner (Curtis) Hinson of Sorrento, FL; his two brothers, Gregory (Beth) Bonner of Oak Bowery, AL and Larry (Kim) Bonner of Valley, AL; his grandson, Tristan Bonner; his granddaughter, Amelia Elkins; his two step children, Brittney Green and Chaz Brooks; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and his precious dog, Susie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Michele Green Bonner; his son, Jacob Bonner; his parents, John and Margaret Bonner; his nieces and nephews, Meagan Elizabeth Bonner, Benjamin Russell Jones, James Christopher Jones, and Jennifer Loren Jones.
Mr. Bonner was born on July 17, 1957 in Valley, AL. He was a train aficionado who had a witty sense of humor. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years for East Alabama. He enjoyed hunting and searching for arrowheads and artifacts. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and always told everyone he loved them.
