Thomas A. Lattin, 79, of 75 Crestmont Street, Cogan Station, died Monday, June 7, 2010, at The Gatehouse Hospice following a lengthy illness.

Tom and his wife, the former, Bonnie L. Nichols, observed their 53rd anniversary on September 8, 2009.

Tom retired from Textron in 1991, was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of First Baptist Church and liked hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.

Born October 25, 1930 in Galeton, he was the son of Arthur and Caroline Moran Lattin.

Surviving are besides his wife, are sons, Thomas M. Lattin and Timothy A. Lattin, both of Cogan Station; a daughter, Teri D. (John) Spillman of Cocoa, Fla.; brothers, Eugene Edward Lattin of Bradford and Arthur Lattin of Philadelphia; a sister, Virginia Nichols of Tonawanda, NY; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Tom was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Lattin.

The family would like to acknowledge Ken & Angie Hower, Nikki Gouge, and Bev & Larry Greene for being there to help the family during Tom’s illness. We also want to give special thanks to Amy Sandrin.
