Mr. Hardy was born to late John and Dorothy Hardy on June 30, 1940 in Lubeck, Texas. He departed this life on January 20, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Parkway Campus.
Mr. Hardy was a retiree of the U.S. Air Force. He also was a dedicated and retired employee of the Boeing Corporation. The highlight of his career at Boeing was his contribution to the design and completion of the International Space Station.
Mr. Hardy had a passion for golf. He was a Marshall for the U.S. Golf Association. He was a loving husband that adored his wife, children and dogs.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Mary R. Hardy of Decatur; two sons, Sean (Lara A. Bryant) Sterling of Madison, Thomas H (Shawn) Hardy Jr. of Newborn, NC; daughter, Kim (Joe) Sansoni of Lumberton, NJ; five grandchildren, Savanna Grace, Cole Hamilton, Matt, Jessica and Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Emma; and a host of other relatives;
