Thomas A. Antollino, 94, of Horsley Ave., New Haven and Del Ray Beach, FL. passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 19, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Barbieri Antollino. Mr. Antollino was born in New HavenMay 30, 1917, son of the late Frank and Martha Mele Antollino. Over the years, he served in several capacities in New Haven City Government. He was Director of Public Works; served on the Board of Police Commissioners, the Tweed New Haven Airport Commission and was Democratic Chairman of the 17th Ward. He was formerly vice president of Golden Crest Ice Cream Corp. He was a member of John Barry Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, The Annex Y.M.A., St. Mary Magdalene Society, St. Andrew Society, the Executive Lunch Group, The Quinnipiack Club and was a parishioner of St.
