Therese J. Gaunt 94, of 100 Front St., died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of the late Clifton Gaunt. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Emelie (Frechette) Charest. Therese worked in several area textile mills including the Bonin Spinning for many years, before moving to California where she owned and operated Rancho Grande Travel Club and traveled the world. She resided in California for twenty years, before moving back to Millville, MA in 1990. She volunteered for numerous organizations throughout her lifetime.

Therese is survived by two sons, Richard Hurteau of Millville, MA and Paul Hurteau of Auburn, MA, a daughter, Pauline Watson of Lincoln, CA, two brothers Louis George Charest of Woonsocket, and Rosaire Charest of Dale City, VA, three sisters, Lucille Duclos and Claire Forand both of Woonsocket, and Noella Papagno of Hollywood, FL, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Roland Hurteau, Jeannine Biller, Denis Hurteau and Ronald Hurteau, and sister of the late Armand Charest, Marguerite Volpe, and Rita Danese.
