Therese (Belhumeur) Bernier 85, formerly of Halsey Rd. died Tuesday at Pine Grove Health Center. She was the wife of the late Normand Bernier. Mrs. Bernier was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Hormidas and Dorina (Boisclair) Belhumeur. She worked in several area knitting mills in her youth, and then worked as the bookkeeper for Bernier’s Auto Body and Trailer Sales.
Mrs. Bernier is survived by her son Normand and his wife Theresa Bernier Jr. of North Smithfield and two grandsons Brian and Brendan Bernier.
