Theresa “Terry” G. (Cyr) Larson, 85, of Newington died on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Hartford Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl V. Larson. Born in Millinocket, ME, daughter of the late Vital J. Cyr and Minnie (Saucier) Cyr, she was a graduate of Marie Joseph Academy in Biddeford Pool and Nursing School in Edmunston, New Brunswick. Mrs. Larson was formerly employed by Veeter-Root and Emhart for many years. She lived in Tariffville before moving to Port Orange, FL for 25 years then came back to CT to live with her sister. She leaves her sister Carlene Dumond and her husband Joseph of Newington, her two brothers, Milton Cyr of Hebron and Paul Cyr and his wife Carlene of Old Orchard Beach, ME, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law Jack and sister-in-law Odette. Theresa loved nature, birds, and her cat Ginger. She was a kind, quiet and loveable sister, who will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Her family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Hartford Hospital for their lovely care.
