Theresa R. Oswald Hangasky, 97, of East Haven passed away Dec. 1, 2012 in Apple Rehab. Laurel Woods in East Haven. She was the widow of John A. Hangasky. Mrs. Hangasky was born in New HavenOct. 3, 1915, daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Huter Oswald. She is survived by one daughter, Theresa M. Hangasky of East Haven; one son, John A. (Suzanne) Hangasky of Ludlow, Mass.; a brother, Gustav Oswald of Fort Myers, FL.; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (William) Gelinas, Lauren and John A. Hangasky III; a great granddaughter, Ivy Elizabeth Gelinas; and her pet, “Holly”. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Oswald. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, aides, residents, Hospice personnel and all the caregivers at Laurel Woods for all their caring thoughts and support.
