Theresa Padilla, 64, beloved mother and wife, was called to her eternal resting place on October 14, 2016. She entered this world on March 18, 1952 in Cuba, NM, born to Gilbert and Gertrude Casaus. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Padilla; sons Lawrence Padilla, Jr (Donna), and Mark Padilla (Veronica); brothers, Ernie Casaus, and Jerry Casaus; sisters, Jean (Ricky Padilla), Sandra Casaus, Bernadette Casaus and partner Stan Davis; brother Keith Casaus and wife Christina; grandsons, Gabriel Padilla, Julian Padilla and her granddaughter Amber Padilla. Theresa is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Theresa enjoyed working with the Albuquerque Public Schools for more than 30 years, where she retired as an Access Facility Specialist. She also enjoyed being with her many friends and family. Theresa loved traveling and being in the outdoors. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Gertrude Casaus. She will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We will love and will miss her dearly.
