Griswold – Theresa F. Blanchard (Gauvin) passed away December 21, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Earnest and Hermina Gauvin of Baltic, CT. She was predeceased by her late husband, Frank H. “Buster” Blanchard. Her son Alan Mercer, her son Gary L. Blanchard, Sr. and granddaughter Wendy Mercer.
Theresa is survived by her son John Blanchard of Montville, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was heavily involved in the community. She enjoyed working with the Griswold Housing Authority and teaching crafts and Swedish weaving at the Griswold Senior Center. In her earlier years she worked at Vanous Mills. She opened up her own real estate business (Chalet Realty) in the 1980’s. She will be greatly missed.
