Theresa A. Symoens Shryock, 54, Lapel, passed away October 22, 2008, at Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born May 29, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Madison County all of her life. Theresa was a graduate of Madison Heights High School. She worked in childcare at Anderson Christian School and also worked at Bauers Market in Lapel. Theresa was a member of Lindberg Road Church of Christ. She was an avid Colts fan loved Florida and her summer vacations. She was a devoted and loving mamaw and enjoyed taking care of others.
She is survived by her daughters, Catina & husband Jason Jessup of Anderson and Brittanie & husband Donnie Robey of Lapel; siblings, Vicky & husband Vic Delaplane of Anderson, Bonnie & husband Richard Gillespie of Ft. Wayne, Michael & wife Betty Symoens of Anderson and Greg Symoens of Anderson and grandchildren, Marlie Nicole Hall, Allison Paige Jessup, Mallory Elizabeth Jessup, Luke Robey and Owen Robey. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Thomas Shryock on May 22, 2002, and her parents, Earnest & Nondas Alfrey Symoens.
