Theresa A. Gordon, 66, of Chardon Ohio, passed away suddenly on Saturday November 23rd. She was born to the late William Burns and Victoria Burns. She spent her early life in Pennsylvania and graduated from Bishop Egan High School in Levittown in 1964. She later moved to New Jersey, where she raised her children and spent most of her adult life.
She was a quiet and gentle person, who, above all, loved her family. She enjoyed baking, cake decorating, cooking, “oldies” music (She even appeared on American Bandstand when it was filmed in Philadelphia!). She also enjoyed watching Sci-Fi movies, swimming and going to Long Beach Island, which she always referred to as “The Seashore.”
She is survived by her husband Jeffery Gordon of Chardon, OH, her mother Victoria Burns of Paris, TN; her children John Walters (Michelle) of Toms River, NJ, Kathryn (Stephen) Sadowski of Edgewater Park and her five granddaughters, whom she adored: Erica and Jessica Walters, Olivia, Gabrielle and Amelia Sadowski. She is also survived by her sisters Elizabeth Case, Susan Dierkes both of Paris, TN and several nieces, nephews and great nephews.
