Theodore Richard Riley Sr. was born in Valentine Nebraska to Theodore R. and Martha Riley on March 7th, 1945 and passed away in his home in Horseshoe Bend Idaho February 7th, was raised on a cattle ranch in the sand hills of Nebraska. He moved to Emmett Idaho in 1959 where he attended high school. He graduated from being a cowboy on the prairie, to being a logger in Idaho. When he was about 17, he drove his first logging truck for Richard Carlock. He finished his logging career in 2009 after driving for Kenny Renfro, who was not only his boss but his friend, in H.S.B. for about 38 years. In 1975 he met his wife, Linda, They were married for 41 ½ years. Ted is preceded in death by his farther, Ted Riley, his mother, Martha Riley and his brother, David Riley. He is survived by his wife Linda. His two brothers, Lee and Vincent (Olivia) Riley, his son Ted Riley (Denise), daughters Tangie( Shane) Colton, and Chris Riley, his step daughter Traci Joiner (Jack). Grandchildren Richard Riley, Calvin Asher, Adriana Grimm, Kaelyn Weeks and Daniel Taylor. Great grandchildren Maryanne Grimm and Jaxon Riley. His sister-in-law, Leona Hodge (David) and brother-in-law, Joe Stastny. And many nieces and nephews, and his lifelong friend David Brown.
