Theodore R. “Ted” Corey, age 57 of Coleman, died Wednesday evening September 28, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. The son of the late Edward R. and Mary R. (Little) Corey was born on August 1, 1959 in Midland where he was raised and educated. Ted was employed as a welder with Midway Oil Supply and later Kastle Construction. He enjoyed working on high performance cars, watching NASCAR, fishing and spending time at the cabin in Lake City with family and friends.
Surviving is his step mother, Patty Corey of Coleman; brother, Tom (Pricilla) Corey of Wixom Lake; niece, Ashley Corey; nephews, Jared Young, Casey (Tiffany) Young; great nieces and nephews, Hunter, Kyler, Sophia and Ellie; special friends, Vaughn Jenkins and Jeremy Bunting who were of great help over the years.
