Theodore P. Potrepka, 87, of New Britain, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in New Britain. Born on November 23, 1927 in Bristol, Ted was the son of the late Julian and Aniela (Trybulski) Potrepka. A veteran of the Korean War, Ted proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was employed as a draftsman for Combustion Engineering in South Windsor, retiring after many years of employment. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church in Bristol. Ted was a lifetime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1010 of Bristol and a lifetime member of the Wolcott Fish and Game Club. Ted is survived by his sister, Frances Sledzik and her husband, Chester of New Britain, his nieces and nephews and their families, Atty. Steven Sledzik, of NYC, NY, Mary Beth Diamond of Moultonborough, NH, Susan Geisker of Tarrytown, NY and Atty. Peter Sledzik of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
