WALLINGFORD – Theodore (Ted) Weimer, age 80, departed this life on May 3, 2018, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at The Village at Kensington Place. Ted was born in New Haven on December 3, 1937 to the late Theodore H. and Marie Antoniette (Couture) Weimer. He was a loving and devoted husband of Arlene (Curtin) Weimer for 55 years. He was predeceased by his 3 sisters, Barbara Donath, Jean Turner, and Patricia Thibault.
Ted joined the US Navy in 1954 and proudly served on the USS Des Moines in the Mediterranean until 1959. Upon his return from the Navy, Ted graduated from Wilbur Cross High School and then earned a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven.
