Theodore Harold Edwards, 89, formerly of Carlyle, died Monday August 24, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.He was born January 6, 1920 in Beckemeyer, the son of Hobart and Naomi (Lytle) Edwards. He married Edna (Hartman) Edwards October 3, 1939; she preceded him in death on February 19, 2008.
Theodore was also proceeded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.Surviving are his daughters: Darlene Pike and husband James of Pocahontas, Sharon Hughes of Greenville, Debbie Chapman and husband Jeff of Highland; his sons: James Edwards and wife Rosemarie of Millersburg, and Thomas Edwards and wife Sandy of Highland; one brother: Jake Edwards of Michigan. Mr. Edwards is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.Theodore worked as a welder for American Steel.
