Theodore Glista, 89, passed away May 28, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center.
Born in Springfield to the late Frank and Apolonia (Konieczna) Glista, he was a Ludlow resident for 64 years. He served in the Army during WWII. Ted retired from Monsanto as a truck driver for 46 years. He took great joy in attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by 3 brothers, Leopold, John, and Chester Glista. He leaves his wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Senyk) Glista; his sons, Michael Glista and his wife Janet of Ludlow and Robert Glista and his wife Kathy of West Springfield; a brother, Edward Glista; 4 grandchildren, Matthew and wife Emily, Adam and wife Lisa, Kelly and fiancé Nicholas Anderson, and David; 2 great-grandchildren, Shelby and Caleb and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
