Theodore B. Sanford, Jr., “The Bear” age 75, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died of cancer on October 3, 2014 at his home after a one year illness.
He was born on January 26, 1939, in Baltimore, to the late Lillian Mae and Theodore B. Sanford, Sr. Always the entrepreneur, he was a self employed business owner with several businesses. He belonged to the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association, the Stoney Creek Democratic Club, and was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Theodore is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years: Mary Suzanne Sanford; his three sons: Theodore Baylor Sanford, III and his wife Kathy Marie, of Pasadena, Michael Warner Sanford and his wife Michele Rene, of Haddock, Georgia, and Alvin Eric Zulka, Jr. and his wife Kimberly ReNae, of Pasadena; his sister Pamela Gail Ferrell, of Pasadena; his Goddaughter Erika S. Zulka, of Pasadena; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
