Theodore “Ted” Albert Priestley
Theodore “Ted” Albert Priestley, 82, was sent home to our heavenly father Monday January 8th, 2018, after a long battle of heart disease.
He survived by his wife Shirley E Priestley and his children; son Timothy S Priestley, daughter Tammy R North and her husband Roland North, daughter Angela L Wood and her husband David Wood, son Joseph D Clark his wife Brenda Clark, son Bryan S Clark and his wife Tiffanie, son Andrew T Clark, and son Jared M Priestley as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Brigham D Priestley and Theodore “Teddy” B Priestley.
Ted was born in Butte Montana on February 23, 1935, to Dolly and Jacob Priestley.
He proudly served his country as a Marine in the Korean War. After he was discharged with several honors he moved his family to Salt Lake City, Utah to further his education and career. He was the Executive Director of the Easter Seal Society for Crippled Children and Adults. He decided to move his family to Las Vegas, Nevada where he started his own successful construction business as a general contractor. When he decided to retire and move back to the state he loved, with the woman he loved.
He was a great provider, a wonderful husband/father/grandfather/great grandfather. He lived for, loved, and adored his family.
Those that knew Ted knew he had a deep love for Music. He played in bands most of his life, and even played and sang at the Grand Ole Opry. Ted loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish and camp.
Ted will be greatly missed by the many different lives he impacted and will be remembered as the compassionate and loving man he was.
