Theodora “Dee” Hoffman, 51, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday April 27, 2012 9:03 a.m. in Union Hospital. Dee was born August 19, 1960 in Terre Haute to Robert Eugene Glaziner and Darnella Rose Conder Glaziner. Dee was in property management for All Apartments in Terre Haute. Dee was an advocate for young single parents, often helping them find food and housing during difficult times. She was very strong willed as well as loving and caring. She was known as the neighborhood Mom and was a big fan of Betty Boop. Dee is survived by her husband, William Eugene Hoffman Jr. of Terre Haute, her Mother Darnell Edwards of Terre Haute, she is also survived by a daughter, Billie Jo Blanton of Terre Haute, a son, Brandon Orndorff and fiance Raquel Johnson, both of Terre Haute, and a step son, Robert Shepard of Terre Haute. She is survived by brothers; Charles Wiliam Glaziner of Terre Haute, Robert Gene Glaziner and his wife Jeannie of Terre Haute, Darrell Edwards of Terre Haute, Albert Alvarez and his wife Tammy of Florida, Randy Lucas and his wife karen and Rudy Alvarez and his wife Annie of California. Four sisters survive; Linda Marlene Gilbert and her husband Steve of West Terre Haute, Debbie Kay Edwards of Terre Haute, Lori Moses and her husband Cambel of Sullivan, IN., and Sally Caldwell of Alabama. She is survived by Four Step Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews and her dog Sparkles. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers; David Glaziner and Tommy Lee Alvarez, and a sister, Della Alvarez.
