Thelma Lucille Pless, 88, of Bloomington, died on Saturday at Golden Living Center. She was born May 20, 1921 in Lawrence County and was the daughter of Orville and Hazel Snowden. Thelma was retired from General Electric. Survivors include her daughter-in-law Pamela Bell of Bloomington, one granddaughter Angie Summers (Jeff) of Richmond, Michigan, two grandsons John Bell (Christina) and Bud Bell both of Bloomington.
She is also survived three great grandchildren Olivia Bell of Bloomington, Tony Bruce and Bridgette Bruce both of Columbus. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband John Pless (1975), one daughter Mary Ann Bell, two sons, Chester R. Bell and Phillip E. Bell, two sisters, Viola Frye and Lorine Smith, three brothers, Charles Snowden, Lloyd Snowden and Eugene Snowden, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
