Thelma Mullins, 80, of Centralia, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. She was born September 9, 1940 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, the daughter of Jesse Loden and Gladys (Poe) Loden. She married Jack Mullins and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Thelma is survived by two brothers: David Loden of Centralia, Roscoe Pollie of Kankakee; a sister: Rosemary Alexander of Kankakee; two sisters-in-law: Kimberly Anderson of Wilmette and Kelly Loden of Benson, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends: Martha Evischi of Centralia and Elizabeth David and Randy of Centralia. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-in-law: William Alexander. Thelma served in the U.S. Air Force. She was of the Baptist Faith. Thelma worked in Child Care for many years. She enjoyed watching birds and taking care of her plants.
