Thelma Martindale Jessup passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 after a long hard battle with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s took away her memories but, was never able to steal her soul.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raeford Boyd Jessup. They were married for almost fifty years. Together, they ran Jessup’s Grill for many years before she went on to retire from Ramtex in Ramseur. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Julia Martindale, sister, Beulah Martindale, Sadie Whitesell, Annie Ruth Crabtree and brother, Russell Martindale.
She is survived by daughter, Raylene Jessup, Selma, son, Alan Jessup, Wilson, daughter, Ro-Jan Williams, and husband, Wesley, granddaughters, Alexandra and Julie, Carthage and many fur babies, including her special dog Doddle Bug.
