Thelma Mae Timmons, 86, of Gladesville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 18th, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 20th, 1926 on Pifer Mountain in Tucker County, WV; a daughter to the late Howard Elmer and Edna Mae (Sayre) Nestor. Thelma was a homemaker, and during World War II, worked at Silman’s Manufacturing. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gladesville. She is survived by: one son, Kevin Timmons and wife Terry; one daughter, Gloria Jean Sapp and husband Roy, all of Gladesville; two brothers: Edward Nestor of Gladesville and Branson Nestor and wife Marie of Michigan; one sister, Margie Calvert and husband Freddie of Ohio; four grandchildren: Eugenia Samuels, Roy Sapp II, Missy Lantz and Mandy Timmons; and nine great-grandchildren. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Faxon Timmons, in 1994; one sister, Mary Lou Stein, and one great-granddaughter.
