Thelma L. Aynes, 88, of Anderson, passed away on November 16, 2012 at Saint John’s Health System Anderson, IN. She was born on May 16, 1924 in Lebanon, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. She is a retired Homemaker.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. Thelma is survived by her children, Richard C. Trena Aynes Jr. of Pendleton, Terry Bud Mabbitt of Anderson and Mary Bobby Mabbitt of Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Corey Jenny Fisher, Matt Mabbitt, Angie Jim Humphrey, Chip Paula Myers, Tearle Eric Dwiggins, Courtney Aynes, Wendy Mendenhall and Darrick DeAnna Aynes; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren; special friends, Betty Wunder and Alice Marshall.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rawlins House.
She was preceded in death by her spouse Richard C. Aynes Sr.; mother, Loraine Dowden; father, Delbert Dowden; son, Wilbur Aynes; and granddaughter, Morgan Mabbitt.
