Thelma (Osborne) Kees, 91 of Arthurdale, entered into eternal rest on Friday April 12, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1921 in Worthington, WV, a daughter of the late Claude Curtiss and Fernie Peggy (Thobois) Osborne. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of the Federated Women’s Club, Farm Women’s Club, and the Community Presbyterian Church of Arthurdale. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Kees of Arthurdale. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Elizabeth Anne Fretz, David Paul Gventer and wife Beth Carol and John Nathan Gventer and wife Karen Ann; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband of 66 years, Kenneth Otis Kees and one sister, Mary Elizabeth Cheney.
