Thelma Irene Suess, 92, of Meridian went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Thelma was born August 12, 1927, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Lloyd and Martha (McCraw) Kee. She moved to Wichita Falls, Texas as a young child and lived there until she married. She met Reuben H. Suess while he was stationed at Shepherd Field in Wichita Falls. They married in 1944. Thelma moved to California after her marriage and lived there until they moved to Idaho in 1990.
Thelma always had a heart of giving and tirelessly worked behind the scene for those she loved. One of her many talents was sewing and knitting, where she showered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with blankets and clothing. She enjoyed hosting luncheons for the Women’s Fellowship bible study providing an atmosphere of tender love and devotion. She had a passionate voice and loved to sing hymns.
Thelma is survived by daughter, Phyllis Seeley (Rodger) of Oregon, son Robin of California, and daughter, Terri Walker (Grant) of Meridian; five grandsons; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband (Reuben), one daughter (Debbie), daughter-in-law (Karen), her parents and 7 siblings.
The family would like to thank The Cottages of Meridian, Memory Care, for all the care and love they gave to Thelma. They would also like to thank Keystone Hospice for all their support and care.
