THELMA MARIE “BIRDIE” HUDSON, 88, resident of Deming, New Mexico passed away on July 31, 2016.
Birdie was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Albert Ross and Myrle Margaret Bays on August 1, 1927. She was married to Roy Keith Hudson, of Hurley, New Mexico. Birdie and Roy, with their three children, Linda, Becky, and Greg moved to Deming in 1960. Birdie was a successful businesswoman, having established her upholstery business in 1962.
Birdie was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, and five siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Kirby (Dave), Becky Rea (Butch), and son Greg (Sandi); her sister Pearl Kelley; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson (Brett), Michael Kirby, Rowdy Rea (Lindsey), Darryl Rea, Tamara Pruessner (Jonathon) and Chelsea McGinnis (Erik); 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
