Thelma F. (Follansbee) Lovell (1923 – 2021)
Thelma F. Lovell, 97, of Vernon, CT passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Born on July 11, 1923, in Portsmouth, NH, she was the youngest of three daughters of Harry E. and Dora J. Follansbee. After graduating from Keene State Teachers College, Thelma moved to Manchester, CT, where she taught at the Highland Park and Buckley Elementary Schools.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Harley W. Lovell; sisters Eleanor Goodwin of Portsmouth, NH, and Phyllis Blissell of Seattle, WA. Survivors include son Keith and his wife, Cathy, of Chester, CT; grandson Ethan of Venice, CA; granddaughter Devin Chester and her husband, Joseph, of Chester, CT, and three great-grandchildren.
