Thelma “Clifton” Pilson, age 88, of Rose Street, formerly of Eby Road, Grafton, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, at Rosewood Center. She was born in Rowlesburg, WV, July 29, 1924, a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Edna (Auvil) Bolner. Her husband, Wilford “Bus” Pilson, preceded her in death.
Thelma was greatly loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by her family. She loved children and babysitting “her babies”.
Surviving are her loving family members: Wanda Hayes; Sharon and Robert Swick; Mike and Tammy Blake; Tony and Cheryl Antonini; Jamie, Michele, Dylan, and Rudy Phillips; Howard, Krista and Mason Gaines; Eric, Erica, and Tyson Forman; Will, Jealisa, Kayden, and Julian Ivey.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Hayes and Shirley Hayes.
A special thanks to Rosewood Center employees for the love they have showed her over the last several years. Also to Dr. Villaraza for the many years of care he gave her. Thank you to her caretaker, Amber Wright, and Hospice for your love and tender hearts, and the 3rd floor nursing staff at Grafton City Hospital for the great care she received there.
