Thelma Katherine Bailey, age 97, of Blackstone, VA died December 16, 2014. She was the daughter of the late James R. and Rosie Hughes Hawkinberry. Her husband, Okey O. Bailey and son, Okey A. Bailey preceded her in death. Survivors include a granddaughter, Melinda B.
Gasparik and husband, Art and a grandson Roger L. Bailey and wife Connie; three great grandchildren, Jennifer Mason (John), Joshua Ford, and Carrie Bailey; 2 great great grandchildren Melliah Mason and Levi Ford; a brother Sammy Gianettino; a daughter-in-law, Ruth and many loving nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers,
Wanda, Violet, Ruby, Wilma, Bill, John and Denzel. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Queen Esther Chapter 11, O.E.S. and Reyonsville Baptist Church.
