Thelma Clements Koelsch, 89, of Newnan, GA passed peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her home from Parkinson’s Disease, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Washington, DC on February 10, 1929. Thelma loved music, dancing, and had a wonderful laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Koelsch, her daughters, Linda (Jim) Trzybinski, of Bowie, MD; Diane Merzke and Karen (Paris) Pacchione of Newnan, GA; 7 grandchildren, Vanessa Parry, Brandon Wilson, Aislinn Berrich, Brady Mapes, Claire Widdowson, Kelsey Mapes and Kate Merzke; 11 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Paul Clements, Albert Clements, Anne Marie Bustillo and Alice Baker; 2 step-sons, Robert (Sally) Koelsch, of Tehachapi, CA; Steven (Silvia) Koelsch of Woodland, CA; 5 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ruby & Stephen Clements, Jr.; 2 husbands, Lawrence Wheeler and Daniel Preecs; 2 siblings, Esther Davis and infant brother; son-in-law Archie Wilson; and nieces, Paulette Barber and Carol Fitzurka.
