A member of the Carlton AOH Church in Carlton, AL, she served as a minister. Her ministry extended through her daycare center where she cared for and guided children through their early years. She was a member of the graduating Jackson High School Class of 1976.
Preceding her in death were her father, Fred Crayton, Sr.; and grandparents, Ned and Ida Pritchett Williams, Ruth Johnson, and Clarence Crayton.
Left to forever cherish her precious memories are five daughters, Kaletha Crayton, Northport, AL, Crystal (James) Hudson, Biloxi, MS, Shanita (Elliott) Lucy, Dixon Mills, AL, Merissa (Mark) Pough, Eastampton, NJ, and Myeisha Smith, Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Gwen Powell, Wagarville, AL, and Chichena (David) Phelon, Mobile, AL; five brothers, Fred (Debra) Crayton, Jr., Antonio (Sharon) Crayton, and Vincent (Mattie) Crayton, all of St. Stephens, AL, Juan Crayton, Jackson, AL, and Damien (Shamika) Crayton, Mobile, AL; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
