Grimes, Rev. Dr. Gordon Wayne; age 60; died Monday morning, November 24, 2003 at a local hospital. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Frances Bowden Grimes. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Grimes. Rev. Grimes was a 1961 graduate of Cradock High School and received his A.A. Degree from Bluefield Jr. College in 1963. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Richmond in 1965.
