Monson-Thanooe P. Paul, passed away from Small Cell lung cancer, on Saturday November 12, 2022 at the young age of 34 surrounded by love of family.
He had a greater than a three year fight with this cancer.
During the last three years of this life he spent as much time as possible building memories with his family and extended family. This was so important to him. He even started recording science experiments with his daughter on YouTube, so she could look back on those times and remember him. He and his wife bought a home, adopted the family dog and participated in many of the town events. They have been active in sports, scouts and dance with their daughter. “My Daddy was my hero – he was always there for me when I needed him. He listened to me and taught me so many things, but most of all he was fun.” Bindi Irwin”
Thanooe put his family first. He loved cooking, fishing, hiking, traveling and his community. He loved football, the Patriots were his team, but Tom Brady was his player.
Thanooe leaves his loving wife, Amanda L (Greiter) Paul and their daughter Ava L. Paul; his mother, Donna L (Paul) Darling of Rhode Island; his sisters, who he loved dearly, Elizabeth Paul, Sara Paul and Sabrina Paul all of Rhode Island, Crystal Beas of California and Joleen Darling of Georgia, along with many extended family members and friends. Thanooe’s loss has devastated the entire family. He was so proud of all of them. He was a devoted husband, father, son, son-in law, brother, brother in-law, uncle and friend. “What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose for all that we deeply love becomes a part of us.” Hellen Keller”. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of care and compassion from family, friends and community during this difficult time.
