Thais Williams, 92, of Three Oaks, Michigan died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 12, 2013.Thais was born to John and Cecil Hoven on June 2, 1921. She graduated from Three Oaks High School in 1938. Thais continued her education at the College of Commerce in South Bend, Indiana, completing a 2 year business course.
On February 12, 1941 she married Kenneth Williams in Three Oaks. She gladly joined her husband and the team at Williams Orchard by doing clerical work and cooked many a delicious supper for the fruit packers. Thais was a member of the Three Oaks United Methodist Church.A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Thais is survived by her husband of 72 years, Kenneth Williams; son Stephen (Nicki) Williams of Caro, Michigan; daughter Laurel (Harold) Macon of Battle Creek, Michigan; grandchildren, Shana and Blake Williams; Hayley, Adam and Gabriel Macon and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Schmidt.
